Children’s Christmas Choir
Our children begin practicing for our annual Christmas program in September during the Sunday School hour. Performance is in December close to Christmas.
Summer Kids Ministry
During the summer months, we have a small kids program for those parents that are involved in the chapel adult Bible study. It is similar to children’s church including a lesson, games, and special fun nights.
Vacation Bible School
During the last week of June (Mon-Thurs), Southwinds enjoys a VBS program for kids going into Kindergarten through 6th grade. Registration opens during the month of May.
Kid’s Camp
In early June, we take our kids to camp in Chester, TX at Camp Ta-Ku-La. They have worship time, game time, swimming, and many more events. Campers must have completed 2nd grade to participate at camp. Camp is a wonderful experience for both camper and counselors!
AWANA Bible Clubs
AWANA club runs through the school year on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for children aged 3 years old (potty-trained) through 6th grade.
Nursery
Jesus loves the little children and so does Southwinds! Children ages 0-3 are cared for by qualified volunteers and are provided with a nurturing atmosphere to begin their journey to know Jesus Christ! All nursery volunteers must do a background check and go through a video training.
